THE 179TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT OF AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION WAS HELD IN OUR COUNTRY

An event was organized by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University Faculty of Agriculture Dean's Office and Tekirdağ Chamber of Agricultural Engineers on 10.01.2025 at 10.30 am in the Faculty of Agriculture Dean's Conference Hall due to the "179th Anniversary of Agricultural Education in Our Country".

Along with the participation of TNKU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Murat TAŞAN, Faculty of Agriculture Dean Prof. Dr. Sezen ARAT, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Murat DEVECİ, Viticulture Research Manager Mehmet Ali Kiracı, Chamber of Agricultural Engineers President Onur AKARLAR, Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Agriculture Department Retired President Hacı ASLAN, academicians and students participated in the program.

The program started with a moment of silence and the reading of the National Anthem. The opening speeches were made by Onur AKARLAR, the President of the Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, and Prof. Dr. Sezen ARAT, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture. Later, Prof. Dr. Fatih KONUKCU, a faculty member of Biosystems Engineering at the Faculty of Agriculture at TNKU, who was invited as a speaker, gave his speech on “Climate Change and Agriculture”. The program ended with the presentation of plaques and certificates of appreciation to the speaker.
