Prof. Dr. Murat TAŞAN

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Taşan, born in İstanbul in 1972, completed his undergraduate education in Trakya University Tekirdağ Agricultural Faculty Food Science and Technology Department.

He began to work as a Research Assistant in Trakya University Tekirdağ Agricultural Faculty Food Engineering Department in 1994, did his Master Degree in 1995 and Doctorate Degree in Trakya University Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences Food Engineering Department in 1999. In the same year, he was appointed to Namık Kemal University Agricultural Faculty Food Engineering Department as Asist. Prof. Dr. In 2010, he assumed the title of Assoc. Prof. Dr. in Food Engineering area.

 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Taşan, still a lecturer in Namık Kemal University Agricultural Faculty Food Engineering Department, worked as the Head of Malkara Vocational School between 2011 and 2013. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Taşan, having done scientific studies on food chemistry and vegetable oil technology in the international and national standards, is married and has two children.
